I have never been a big fan of cats. In a way, I am a bit afraid of them, but today, a particular little cat melted my heart. Boyfriend and I went to a meetup event at the Innovation Warehouse on top of the Smithfield Market, here we met Princess, also known as the Startup Cat. She roamed around the place like the true boss, and cast her cuteness spell on every passerby. Of course, I was a victim of hers too, started thinking whether she would get on with Cotton. Well, they are about the same size, so maybe…
Princess was definitely more confident, posing in all sorts of ways in front of my camera, like a seasoned celebrity. Well, she is, she even has her own twitter page.
Pho (Happy World Pasta Day)
After the event, we were planning on going to have some pasta at a popular Italian restaurant nearby, to celebrate the World Pasta Day, but I decided ‘no’, because the menu included rabbit. I do not support restaurants that serve my precious Cotton’s distant relatives. Instead, we went to have Pho instead. Pho, pasta, not that much different.
A beautiful evening, I had a cat to play with, pho in my tummy. Indeed, Princess was a gentle sweet little kitty. Perhaps, I should overcome my fear of cats. They certainly have strong personalities, but they are cute in their own ways.
Anyway, millions of real princesses would not change my love for Cotton. In my eyes and heart, Cotton is always my little darling. Whilst boyfriend and I were having a good time eating pho, I did not forget about Cotton. There were some leftover mint leaves and coriander, so I packed them into a little plastic cup for Cotton.
As I write this post, boyfriend has been putting poisonous words into Cotton’s ears again, ‘Do you know, Cotton. Mummy has been cheating on you. She played with a pussy cat…’
Well, I am sure Cotton knows I love her really.
PS. we will be doing a tour of different Pho places in London. Keep your eyes out for posts on Pho.
